Johanna is one of Finland's leading family lawyers with more than twenty years of experience. After having worked more than ten years at some of Finland’s leading law firms with taxation matters, company law and private clients, she founded Attorney at Law Familja in 2014 to focus primarily on international family law.

 

Johanna has a true passion for multicultural environments. She has a master’s degree in law from both Finland and Sweden in addition to having studied international child law at the University of Manchester, UK. Johanna is also a trained mediator.

​Silva got her master's degree in law from the University of Stockholm in 2022 and from the University of Helsinki in May 2023. She is currently completing a year-long programme serving as a Trainee District Judge.

​

Silva is interested in international family law and has studied law at the University of Fundação Getulio Vargas in Brazil as well as interned at a law firm in Brazil.

 

Silva's mother tongue is Finnish, but she is also fluent in Swedish, English, Spanish and Portugese.​​​​​​​​

Johannes is in the later stages of his studies in law at the University of Helsinki and has joined Familja to take on new and exciting challenges in international family- and inheritance law.
 

Johannes speaks Finnish and English natively and Ukrainian fluently. Johannes has a special place in his heart for Ukraine, and his story of cultural discovery has inspired countless and been featured in both Finnish and Ukrainian media.

Ida graduated in the spring of 2025 and currently works as an Office Assistant at Familja alongside her studies. She has a strong interest in languages and communication and speaks Swedish, Finnish, and English fluently. Additionally, she is studying French.

​

At Familja, Ida finds an outlet for her creativity by designing and creating visual material for marketing. She appreciates putting her language skills into practice and values the opportunity to work in an international environment.
